Learning New Things
Learning is a Boost for Your Memory
It’s no secret that learning new skills and information is crucial for keeping your mind sharp. When we challenge ourselves to step out of our routines and explore new knowledge, we strengthen our memory and cognition.
However, I must admit, depending on the subject I need to start learning, I often feel chronic laziness. Especially when it comes to “internet stuff.” I used to hate remembering passwords and creating new Facebook accounts for work to keep things separate.
But this laziness wasn’t helping me improve my salary. A professor of mine often said that those who kill themselves working have no time to make money. And I was working harder than a newly graduated doctor on call (laughs!!).
So, I had so many expert reports to deliver that I barely had time to sleep. My little cousin visited during her July vacation (in Brazil, we have July vacations, and it’s winter, quite cold, by the way), and her love language is quality time. You can imagine her disappointment, and my conscience felt heavy!
But last Monday, I had a small break from work (I’m a forensic document examiner). When I’m not working for the court in Rio Grande do Sul, I’m writing my book.
That’s when my older aunt, who is just five years older than me and the mother of my young cousin, gave me a scolding: “Stop being a work addict; life isn’t just about work.”
So, I decided to have fun. In my teens, I started studying classical drawing, and I still draw a bit. But nowadays, I love photography. That’s when I discovered a photo and video AI called Artflow, and I fell in love! I’ll show you some fantasy photos here. The photos are so beautiful they don’t even look like me!
This article explores the importance of learning new things and how it can boost your memory.
The Importance of Learning New Things
Learning new things keeps the brain active. Acquiring new knowledge improves brain plasticity, which is the brain’s ability to adapt and form new neural connections. This is essential for good mental health.
New challenges stimulate the mind. When we expose ourselves to new concepts and skills, we push the brain out of its comfort zone. This intense activity helps preserve memory and prevent cognitive diseases like Alzheimer’s.
How Artflow Can Help
Artflow is a platform that makes it easy to create personalized avatars and images. By using this tool, you can explore your creativity and learn to create high-quality digital art.
As I mentioned before, the photos are beautiful, like studio photos. They’re great for adding to your resume without needing to schedule with photographers or spend a fortune on hair and makeup.
Best of all, starting is free, allowing anyone to begin learning and developing new artistic skills. If you work with images, it’s worth buying more credits for your business.
I’m still learning to use the platform. You can make your avatar talk in short videos for Instagram or TikTok. When I learn how, I’ll make a new post about my experience, and if the result is good, I’ll even show a video of my talking avatar.
Step-by-Step Guide to Artflow
1. Access the site: Type “Artflow” into Google and click the first option.
2. Create an account: After signing up, you’ll receive 100 free credits to start creating.
3. Use the Image Studio: Explore the Image Studio to create your personalized avatar. Write a detailed prompt to describe what you want to create.
4. Visualize and save: Artflow generates four images based on your prompt, using one credit for each image created.
Benefits of Artflow
- Stimulates creativity: Creating unique avatars and images helps expand your imagination.
- Enhances technical skills: Working with digital tools develops technological competencies.
- Facilitates continuous learning: Using Artflow, you constantly learn new methods and techniques in digital art.
Well, before concluding this article, let me tell you that in order to create your ‘actor’ or ‘avatar’, you’ll have to upload between 5 and 20 photos to be the reference ‘face’ that the artificial intelligence will create, and this process takes time, as my registration was free, and I uploaded 20 photos, the app took about 9 hours.
But then the platform contacted me after ‘training my actor’. The result is the photos I’ve posted in this article. Well, good fun now!
Conclusion
In conclusion, learning new things is vital for keeping the mind healthy and active. Tools like Artflow make this process accessible and fun, encouraging creativity and developing new skills. Don’t miss the chance to boost your memory by exploring new knowledge and challenging your mind.
